Skælingur is an expressive rock mountain between Loðmundarfjörður and Húsavík. It has sometimes been called the Chinese Temple because the rock city at the top looks like a stone-lined Chinese temple. Drive to Borgarfjörður and from there to Nesháls between Húsavík and Loðmundarfjörður, from where you walk to Skælingur. Registration until August 25 on the travel company's website, as the walk may be moved to Sunday if the weather seems more suitable.
