FLYING OVER ICELAND (4K) 1HR Ambient Drone Film + Music by Nature Relaxation™ for Stress Relief

WATCH ON-DEMAND @ https://watch.naturerelaxation.com/vi... | ABOUT: "Flying Over Iceland: Part I" is a stunning yet soothing aerial journey to the remote fjords and valleys of eastern Iceland. The first of a new series, Part I begins at sunrise on a perfect summer day in Breiðdalsvík, where a golden sun lights up the majestic valley. After soaring through the golden sea mists and offering a glimpse of the stunning Breiðdalur Valley (its name means ‘Wide Valley’), viewers then head inland to a hidden, magical arched waterfall for a refreshing immersive flight that begins at the base of the falls and reaches above the clouds. Next, as the morning turns into a sunlit afternoon, viewers are swept inland to the crystal clear waters of the impressive Breiðdalsá river, to cool off in some falls along with a pair of local swans. Well known for salmon fishing, the turquoise blue river winds its way scenically across the valley basin to the sea, which is where the film ends - but not before a chance encounter with a local reindeer! The final flight in Part 1 offers a sunny afternoon look at the tiny village of Breiðdalsvík from afar and offers an amazing endless blue water vista with green islands, seagulls, a rock island that that looks like a cat, a scenic lighthouse, and more. Paired with nature sounds and new music by The Cynic Project (Relax Moods), it is a wonderful yet rare colorful look into the often overlooked lands of East Iceland. Part 2 coming soon!

Austurland

Towns & Villages

Each town in Austurland has its own characteristics. In some of the coastal villages t, the influence of North European neighbors obvious to everyone.

The French made a strong impact in Fáskrúðsfjörður where the road signs are made out in French as well as in Icelandic. Norwegian influence is easily detected in the Eskifjörður and Seydisfjörður architecture. No such roots are to be seen in Egilsstadir which is the latest addition to East Iceland agglomeration, founded in the late forties of the 20th century.
