Relax like a local
The town swimming pool is a favorite gathering place year round. Enjoy hot tubs, sauna, swimming facilities and beautiful fjord views. The perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Taste local flavours
From relaxed lunch buffet at Hildibrand to harbor side dining at The Bait Shack, Neskaupstaður offers great places to enjoy local food.
The Bait Shack
The Bait Shack is a cozy harbor-side restaurant with story as rich as its flavors. After nearly a century of maritime life this house was restored and reopened in 2017 as bar and restaurant.

Kaupfélagsbarinn
Hildibrand’s hotel on-site restaurant is dedicated to the history of the building as a Co-Op shop and the long-standing tradition of fishing and farming in the area. We highly recommend their lunch buffet.
