Tanni Travel is a family-owned travel agency and tour operator based in Eskifjörður, East Iceland. Established in 1993, we offer guided day tours, shore excursions, private tours and group transport. With our own fleet and a team that lives and works in the region year-round, we bring local knowledge and over three decades of experience to every trip.
Shore excursions in East Iceland
Our shore excursions depart from Seyðisfjörður and Djúpivogur, with port pickup and return planned around your ship’s schedule. Travel with local guides to explore canyon landscapes, waterfalls, geothermal baths and Iceland’s southeast coast.
From Seyðisfjörður, visit Stuðlagil Canyon on a guided hike or a tour to the west-side viewpoints, with options to include Vök Baths. From Djúpivogur, join an excursion to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, taking in coastal and mountain scenery along the way.
Private tours and group travel
We arrange private day tours and tailor-made journeys throughout East Iceland, from the fishing villages of the Eastfjords to the region’s highlands. Routes, activities and the pace of each trip are planned around your interests and the time you have available.
For travel agencies, tour operators and private groups, we provide itinerary planning, transport and guiding, working with local partners on accommodation and activities. We can organise a complete programme or operate a trip you have already planned. Coach hire with a driver is also available for tours, transfers and group travel.
