Exhibition about Málfríður Jónasdóttir from Kolmúli in Reyðarfjörður
– Featuring objects from the collection of the East Iceland Heritage Museum, originating from the region.
The Regional Archives will display several historical photographs of people from Borgarfjörður, taken at the photography studio of Bjarni Thorsteinsson in Höfn, as well as various documents related to the history of Borgarfjörður and the Vík area.
Residents can pick up books ordered via leitir.is or directly at the library.
Visitors are also welcome to speak with museum staff and bring objects, documents, or photographs for review.
