Join us on Sunday, 9 August at 3:00 pm for the opening of a new exhibition at Gallery Klaustur.
In From the Garden of the Mind (Úr garði hugans), Anna Birna Einarsdóttir presents a collection of textile artworks inspired by nature—its forms, beauty, and organic abundance, reflecting the fertile landscape of the imagination.
We warmly invite everyone to celebrate the opening of what we hope will be the first exhibition in the Útsaumur Austurlands (Embroidery of East Iceland) exhibition series.
The exhibit will be open 10:00 am – 5:00 pm daily, until 5 September.
Before the exhibition opening, the annual ecumenical service will be held in the ruins of the old monastery church. The service begins at 2:00 pm, and all are welcome to attend before joining us for the exhibition opening
