Innsævi Festival takes place across Fjarðabyggð, June 1–20
The focus of Innsævi is to engage all communities within Fjarðabyggð through a diverse range of events spread across the festival period, with varying emphasis in different locations and at different times. The Cultural Office is leading the planning and organization of the festival in close collaboration with artists, partners, and local residents.
"Innsævi is a platform for the arts, community, and creativity throughout the municipality. We want to build the festival together with residents, artists, and partners, creating a diverse programme that reflects the people, culture, and energy of Fjarðabyggð," says Þórhildur Tinna Sigurðardóttir, Director of the Fjarðabyggð Cultural Office.
