Of Sheeps and farmers - Jón Guðmundsson

June 9 - July 7

4 pm Friday, June 9th, Jón Guðmundsson opens a new exhibition in Gallery Klaustur

The show is dedicated to sheep and farmers in Fljótsdalur, based on true and false events. The pictures are pen drawings, created with unique flair and the humor that Jón is known for.

Many know Jón from the time he lived here in the east and taught at the children's school in Hallormsstaður and the music school in Egilsstaðir. But he is not only a good teacher but also a talented artist who has dabbled in art, photography, writing, and music.

Jón has held several exhibitions and in July he opens his fourth summer exhibition in the Church at Vallanes.

The exhibition runs until July 7 and is open every day 10 am – 6 pm during the museum's opening
