Saga Unn, an artist based in Stöðvarfjörður, opens her exhibition in Þórsmörk titled “Squaring the Circle”
The exhibition showcases recent works by Saga, inspired by personal experiences of creative forces, both as they are approached by artists and as they may appear in nature. The exhibition consists of experimental pieces made from food and other everyday objects. The works attempt to pin down the conflicting desires people have to belong to a whole and, at the same time, to step outside of it.
Join us for an exhibition of marvels exploring disappointment and despair in the light of endless beauty, mystery, and possibility. Saga dedicates the works to David Lynch. The exhibition will be open on weekdays from 12-16 until August 24th.
