Bræðslan is a music festival organized by the people of Borgarfjörður Eystri for everyone who loves music and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Bræðslan opens its doors for one special evening each year, on the last Saturday night of July. In the week leading up to the festival, the local community hosts a variety of events and activities for visitors and residents alike.
The festival’s programme is designed to appeal to the whole family, featuring a mix of emerging young artists and celebrated musical legends. Bræðslan is also broadcast live on Rás 2, the home of Icelandic music, bringing the unique atmosphere of the festival to audiences across the country.
