KIOSK 108 Art show-Bar-Music

June 20 - July 29

KIOSK 108 is a former 1969 Icelandic ship’s captain’s bridge, abandoned for decades and revived by artist Monika Fryčová as a floating sculpture, art venue, and bar. Described by Icelandicnational TV RÚV as
a standing poem of our time,” the project has been relocated twice and is now anchored near the port of Seyðisfjörður, Iceland.

Operating as a gesture of the independent art scene, KIOSK 108 exists simply by being what it is—
bringing people together and redefining what a venue can be. Conceived as a micro-utopia, it invites
art to be inhabited rather than observed, It invites people into shared experiences shaped by
generosity, pleasure, and communal presence.

Since 2021, KIOSK 108 has hosted over 50 artists and music projects from Europe, the USA, and
Latin America, becoming a distinctive cultural landmark and a haven for international visitors. Run
by Fryčová and active almost daily (during summer), the concept “ART & BUSINESS,” forming
an ongoing artistic research and investigation into freedom, authorship, and social systems.

In 2020, Fryčová founded NO PANIC ehf. as an artwork in itself—conceiving the company as an
performative structure. The company produces and supports experimental art, music, and film.
Based in Iceland and operating internationally, NO PANIC ehf. is dedicated to sustaining
independent culture beyond institutional frameworks.
