This summer Ferðafélag Fljótsdalshéraðs offers a fun tour of Víknaslóðir, where you will spend one night in a cabin in Breiðuvík. You will walk over a gorge and up into a deserted bay, and the hiking trail is characterized by the colorful glory of the surrounding liparite mountains. In Breiðuvík, there is a large and extensive sandy beach that everyone must visit.
