Amazing Þerribjörg Cliffs in Austurland, East Iceland

Þerribjörg Cliffs are very colorful sea cliffs in Austurland. A marked walking path takes you down to Þerribjörg, east of Hellisheiði Eystri, where the rhyolite is at its most beautiful. The walk is fairly difficult and long, but well worth it for experienced hikers. This is an ancient volcanic area.
